We exist in a world of dualities that transform in every way
We experience them constantly throughout each and every day
Shown in actions we make and words we’re i n s p i r e d to say
Each with natural p a t t e r n s that o u t l i n e our so called self
Perhaps you’ve met ones who bottle their emotions on a shelf
Lost in illusion from their own mind they seem to hide
Fearing of forsaken villains selfishly lost in their own pride
Who steal from those in power pursuing to conquer the world at bay
While some ever w a n d e r amidst the foggy mist lost in thought all day
Others spend their whole lives dancing in youthful joy and endless play
With dear ones who will always be a loving friend along your side
Dreaming of heroes leading the world into light with a heartfelt stride
Saving those blissfully unaware skipping along in a constant daze
Singing to the top of their lungs f l o a t i n g within a musical haze
There are many seemingly lost within some sort of mystic maze
Hurt by one lost in lust, with a new lover each night they mindlessly lay
Collecting hearts like beads on a s t r i n g, o n e by o n e counting them a w a y
Even if unaware, all are masters of the mind shaping reality in a myriad of ways
For a moment in time there was no clear distinct s e p a r a t i o n
Sadly some that have forsaken all and live in t o t a l i s o l a t i o n
They cannot seem to see past a w a l l built of complete desolation
I express from my heart a story I’ve already began, from me to you
A story at first that could make one feel quite sad and blue
Until one has a s h i f t in perspective in a way anew
From the time of creation to the moment so called now
From the depths of earth flowers b l o o m , you may ask how?
In the darkest skies m a g i c a l l y a moon so luminously glows
In the deepest depths of the oceans hues much life still grows
Everything in nature adapts to survive within its own sphere
To what surrounds we become as a reflection in a mirror
Evolving in new ways while it slowly become clearer
Just as lost Alice found there was no use for so many tears
She trusted in the moment and kept on despite her fears
Through ups and downs, b i g and small in many forms she appears
Such a struggle so lost and confused she must endear
Chasing rabbits with w o n d e r taking her f a r and near
Until a w o k e n to remember she came from the other side of the mirror
Lost in translation between the reflection and who be the true seer
As I f l o a t and swim within an i n f i n i t e ocean of awakening dreams
She drowns amidst her sorrow and painfully p i e r c i n g screams
I live to see the beauty entwined in every sacred moment
She’s immersed in e n d l e s s visions of pain and torment
I aspire to always vividly create, e x p r e s s and i n s p i r e
She has unforgivingly declared reality itself a dreadful liar
I strive to build upon my a s p i r a t i o n s solidly b e a m by b e a m
Her world is forcibly being t o r n a p a r t every t h r e a d and s e a m
I t e a r my heart wide o p e n to embrace this experience called life
To a life so dear she’s dared blindly hold a knife
Threatened at hand by cause of a w r e t c h e d mistake
Tricked by her own mind, seemingly no other choice to make
Her being birthed my form so naturally I will always love her so
Her true nature is more generous and loving than any that I know
In a second it can shift, as s h a r p as a b a t t l e sword
As ice frigid cold as the s w i r l i n g blizzard snow
Words aimed like a r r o w s lit with s c o r c h i n g fire
Each new experience, in the end only takes me h i g h e r
Into a new aspect of myself in near every possible way
There is constricting fear in every word I hear her say
She prays to keep me a w a y from the world she sees
A world where darkness, death and d e s t r u c t i o n breed
But in the l i g h t e n e d heart of her soul she truly knows
In merging l o v e and c r e a t i o n nature b r e a t h e s
She said always e m b r a c e this giving world that s u r r o u n ds
Listen to the s o u n d as divine rain f a l l s lovingly for all to drink
Just lie down on this earth, it’s indescribably beautiful, don’t you think?
The world of dualities, I try to embrace through and through
The same dualities that can m o r b i d l y s p i l t h e r in two
Without a balance she always t r a n s f o r m s somehow entirely new
With all of my heart I honestly have the greatest sympathy
For there was moment in time that I f i n a l l y came to see
How I could be never let her be anything but dead to me
Just a l o n g lost d r e a m far from all that comes to be
Amidst the madness others just could not understand
Her actions, mostly were only in an effort to protect me
Using many different potions to get her mind to partially conform
Once again they inject her with a serum to quiet her mental storm
But they can’t keep up with the rate her mind always t r a n s f o r m s
Running from place to place with nothing more that could fit in hand
The world she showed me can be a m y s t i c a l w o n d e r l a n d
We lived many possible expressions she d r e a m e d we could be
But what most would her so called logical rational mind
Is f a l l i n g, d i s s o l v i n g through the c r a c k s like sand
Within an hourglass the moments slowly trickle a w a y
I learned a few lessons from which I may never s t r a y
But no l o n g e r can I stand to hear the things she has to say
She speaks of corpses lying s c a t t e r e d across the ground
Voices that call to her when there isn’t the slightest s o u n d
Demons p r o w l i n g in darkness that s u r r o u n d s
There are gateways and portals she says, they are all I can s e e
We must leave this demented place, we must l e t g o and be set free
These foolish material things, do nothing but tie us down
Keeping us from being who we were always meant to be
Steal you away and torment you as they did me
Nail you to your dreams and slowly burn you alive
If we don’t run far away now, my love we’ll never survive
The same earth goddess that so joyously l a u g h e d as she spoke
Who needs anything other than to be in nature’s beauty and thrive
Surrendering to the divine flow of all allows you to feel the most alive
If only the two ideas could flow effortlessly hand in hand
There is a mystery to the mind, one we don’t yet understand
So many unexplainable things she hears, speaks to and sees
I just trust that it’s for the best I never dare again let her near me
Although I do not hold her to what her mind convinced must be done
I’m grateful to live my own life, passionately in love under this sun
She gave me a perspective I never could’ve come to have
If I hadn’t been there each time she went uncontrollably mad
Embarking on a voyage, a long journey to the depths of my fears
To the root of myself and back throughout the years
For a time my heart was buried alive so it appeared
From which flowers inside bloomed from a wellspring of tears
I found there is much life offers with every moment in time
With so many ways to experience and express so sublime
Like the irony within this poetically proclaimed rhyme
I’m aware I’m not like most that you may happen to meet
But we all have our own story, and I find it quite neat
Many tell me that I’m young, and in time I shall know
I simply nod, and do my best to let my heart show
I’m not here to impress, in fact some would say I’m a mess
Yet everything can shift to make us become who we are
Formed from f r a g m e n t s collected from an e x p l o d e d star
Beyond all these thoughts and fears that we can feel
There is a love beneath it all that is the most real
We each are each shaped by different experiences in life
You can embrace it with healthy pride or wallow in strife
We have the power to react to fear in a hurtful way
As we have the courage to respond with love to each and every day
Do not blame the world for what you have seen
At the end of the day we’re really all on the same team
We represent the divine shaped into nature’s mankind
While many have been consumed by their own individual mind
We seemingly exist a p a r t, but to every story, remember there is always a start
The most lovely of all creations are always sourced from the heart
We are formed into so many e x p r e s s i o n s , you could say its p u r e a r t

To live e v e r y moment in love is only the s t a r t
Just strive to be who you are, in its fullest and true form
Holding space as a shelter of love in the eye of the storm
Just be real and express what your heart feels inside
In the midst of bloodthirsty battle only fear will survive
Trust with your whole heart there is no reason to hide
In the union of life, love will always and foremost thrive
Embracing the world with new eyes; as a f r a g m e n t e d version of you
Melting the mold of what you believe yourself to be
Even if it seems that light never again shall you have the chance to see
Even in the deepest darkness your heart has the purest of all sight
For each moment that has passed just let it be far gone
There is only moving forward, into the harmony of a new song
Avoid all resistance, struggle or temptation to fight
Embracing the duality that exists in all its might
Just trust within the depths of your heart filled core
In the end could you really ever ask for more?
If one never was once absorbed in complete and utter darkness
How could one truly embrace the beauty within a ray of light
A lullaby that carries through the silent darkness of each night
Till the morning sun again may restore this b e l o v e d sight
